Author, and former history teacher in Newton Stewart, Lawrie Johnston will talk about his two books, both inspired by Galloway.
The first book, “Who served well” centres around three young friends from Galloway who embark on their own personal journeys as the first world war rages.
The second book, “A raven rising” is a medieval tale of ambition, loyalty, rivalry and treachery, which starts when a stranger arrives at a remote cottage in the Galloway hills
